Team Member Legal & Compliance (m/f/x) - in Berlin or Munich

Your tasks

What we're looking for

  • In the area of contract management, you will take on the following tasks:
    • Legal compliance auditing, controlling and monitoring of contracts, including auditing the use of funds and all administrative services relating to contract management
    • Maintenance and further development of the Foundation’s internal contract processes
    • Advising the team on legal and operational contract issues
    • Assisting the team with trainings on contract and foundation law issues
  • In the area of compliance, you will take on the following tasks:
    • Assisting with compliance issues as well as with controlling and monitoring legal and internal compliance requirements, including coordination of data protection measures
    • Assisting with complying with and implementing legally required reports (lobby register, transparency register, etc.) and with fulfilling regulatory requirements
    • Preparing decision papers for internal decision makers on legal topics
    • You communicate with all relevant internal stakeholders and external partners and assist in the further development of our contract management and compliance services.

Your profile

What you contribute

  • You have completed your studies in business or law (e.g., Bachelor of Laws or First State Examination) and have additional qualifications in the fields of foundation law, contract law, and compliance.
  • You have several years of relevant professional experiences in contract management and compliance, preferably with nonprofit organizations.
  • You are able to connect with different target groups thanks to your proven written and oral communication skills, both in German and English.
  • You work reliably and independently, have excellent structural and organizational skills, and a high degree of integrity.
  • You work well in a team and have excellent problem-solving and implementation skills.
  • You like to work in a dynamic environment and are able to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and/or tasks.
  • Very good MS Office skills complement your job profile.
