• You conduct desk research and literature reviews – i.e., you research relevant surveys, reports, papers, opinions, implementation projects and more around leadership, economic transformation, and sustainability.
  • You interpret and combine input to find relevant topics and trends and to identify potential partners, organizations, experts, etc. for the Foundation’s Insights work.
  • You assist in managing BMW Foundation Insights projects related to reports, podcasts, and other formats. This includes exchange and cooperation with the Foundation’s team leads and communications team as well as external partners on issues such as formats, timelines, distribution strategies, etc.
  • You assist us in concept creation.
  • You edit and revise created content.

  • You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program (ideally related to sustainability, economics, or social sciences) in Munich and are strongly motivated to gain experience in an impactful work environment.
  • You are deeply interested in research, particularly around energy, sustainability, societal cohesion, and democracy. You like to keep up to date with current trends (incl. technology).
  • You have business fluency in German and English.
  • You are able to break down research and derive focus topics that are connected to the Foundation’s mission and vision. In research and writing, you work with attention to detail.
  • You are curious and ask critical questions that will take all of us forward. Your analytical skills enable you to put puzzle pieces together with ease.
  • You are pragmatic, hands-on, and capable of managing yourself and others. First project management experience is a plus.
  • You are demonstrably proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint). Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, Stata) is a plus.
