About Raja Lehal
Rajah Lehal is a technology lawyer and a legal technologist.
Having received his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and his JD degree from the Western University Faculty of Law, Rajah is a serial entrepreneur. He acts in a business development role and on the board of directors of his third business Cobalt Lawyers, and for his fourth business, the not-for-profit Multiplicity Accelerator. Rajah is presently working on his fifth business as founder and CEO of Clausehound.com, a website that is a resource for small businesses to achieve business law literacy and to draft and manage their legal agreements.
Rajah received his legal training in the corporate law group at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Toronto, as well as internationally for the Technology Media and Telecom group in the Dubai office of Clyde & Co.
Rajah received an Honours Philosophy degree from the University of Waterloo, where he took a significant course load in mathematics, computer science, and cognitive science. Prior to entering business and law school, Rajah worked for more than a decade in the information technology industry, including three years in software development and seven years as an Information Systems and Technology manager at Bell Mobility, a major telecommunications company, and at Guardian Capital, a financial services company.
Rajah is committed to pro bono both in his professional and personal life, organizing hackathons, education events, and providing pro bono legal services through his businesses.
Rajah is also an avid board game player.
