The BMW Foundation will be a core partner of the Energy Resilience Leadership Group (ERLG). Dr. Heba Aguib, Member of the Board at the BMW Foundation, is joining the ERLG as co-chair alongside board members Ann Mettler (Breakthrough Energy), Christian Bruch (Siemens Energy), and Prof. Dr. Helmut Schönenberger (UnternehmerTUM).

We are pleased to announce that together with our new Board of Directors, a newly established leadership will shape the transformation of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt. This team includes Esben Ehrenreich (VP Communication & Narratives), Arlene Hoffmann-Singh (VP Legal & Finance), Sabine Kuschel (VP Programs, Knowledge & Inspiration), Paula Quintas (VP Collective Intelligence & Network Strategy), and Dr. Bryan Scheler (VP Strategy & Impact).

The Board of Trustees of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt has appointed Heike Schneeweis as a new member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. Since January 1, 2024, the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt has been led by a new leadership duo. Dr. Heba Aguib, Member of the Board of Directors, is looking forward to the collaboration and to developing the Foundation’s work together with Heike Schneeweis. 

German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with support from the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung, has launched the event series “Werkstatt des Wandels” at the first “Werkstattgespräch” in Erlangen. This groundbreaking project aims to promote the transformation of the social and ecological market economy on the basis of democratic principles, value-based innovations, and economic growth. At the BMW Foundation, the project will be headed by new board member Heba Aguib.
